We are thrilled to announce our second annual festival to celebrate Pride! Join us on October 12 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. We will have vendors, food trucks, costume contests, and a drag show! The entire day is family-friendly. We hope to see you on Washington Street in downtown Shelby, NC!

VOLUNTEERS
You can register to volunteer for the festival now! Open until Sept 1. 2024.
We are looking for volunteers for this year's Shelby Pride Festival 2024! Here's an idea of what volunteering looks like for festival work:
Small / Light Lifting - we have several vendors this year who will need help unloading and packing up.
Checking IDs - with some of our vendors serving adult beverages, Shelby Pride will need help checking IDs and serving drinking bracelets.
Orienting - Many vendors and attendees may have questions about where to find specific locations.
General "Keep an Eye On Things" - pretty self-explanatory. :)

VENDORS
What you need to know!
We are so excited you are considering being a vendor at our festival! Our current vendor application portal is now closed for the 2024 and acceptances emailed out. If you are missing an update, please feel free to reach out to us at shelbypridenorthcarolina@gmail.com!

Shelby Pride Leadership will accept applications for vendors until August 1. After August 1, vendors will be updated on the status of their application. There is a $25.00 vendor fee. Preferences for vendors will be made by the Shelby Pride Leadership based on order of submission. We do have limited space and, should we exceed what our space allows, we will prioritize local and nonprofit vendors first.

September 1 is the deadline for vendors to pay their dues and send back their waivers and permits to Shelby Pride. Without payment and waivers/permits on record, Shelby Pride cannot reserve a vendor's space in the festival. Payment can be made to Shelby Pride via Paylpal, Venmo, or Cash App.
Vendors can arrive as early as 10:00 a.m. to begin set up on October 12.
ALL vendors will need to complete the Shelby Pride Waiver and email in necessary permits in order to participate in the festival. If your vendor space requires power, be sure to notify Shelby Pride Leadership and bring your own drop chords. Expectations for participating as a vendor are for set up to be between the hours of 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. for our festival guests to have the best experience. ​
